The all-new Lifan 630 sedan has been launched on the China car market. Price starts at 54.900 yuan and ends at 65.900 yuan, making the Lifan 630 one of the cheapest small sedans money can buy on the Chinese auto market. The 630 futures a distinctive Lexus-like snout with sharp-shaped LED-lights in the bumper.

The rear is rather bland by comparison. Two four cylinder petrol engines: an old 1.5 with 94hp and 128nm, and a new 1.5 ‘VVT’ with 103hp and 133nm. Both engines are mated to a 5-speed manual. The power menu is a bit of a surprise because Lifan said earlier on the 530 would be powered by a 106hp 1.6 and by the 103hp 1.5, and the CVT transmission has gone missing too.

The old engine won’t be very good or refined but certainly help to keep the price down, and price is the single most important factor why people by a Lifan, no matter its fancy front.

Size: 4610x1705x1495, wheelbase is 2605.
