New spy shots of the facelifted Geely Emgrand EC7. It will debut on the Beijing Auto Show in April next year and it will be launched on the China car market around the same time. The extensive facelift includes a new grille, new headlights, new rear lights, new bumpers, and updated interior, and a brand new 1.3 liter turbocharged engine.
The current Geely Emgrand EC7. Price starts at 71.800 yuan and ends at 113.800 yuan. Current engines: 109hp 1.5 and a 139hp 1.8. These engines will continue in the facelifted Emgrand EC7 and they will be joined by the new 1.3 turbo which has an output of 133hp and 186nm. Price-wise the 1.3 turbo will be positioned just under the 1.5, so the overall price range won’t change much.
Interior updated with better materials, a newly designed center stack, and most interestingly an all-new oddly shaped steering wheel with large alu-style hand grips. Sporty Emgrand this is!
Position of the exhaust pipes kinda weird, just fitting in under the fog lights.
