Spy shots: China-made Audi A3 sedan is Almost Ready for the Chinese auto market
New spy shots of the China-made Audi A3 sedan, it will debut on the Beijing Auto Show in April launched on the Chinese car market soon thereafter. Price of the Audi A3 sedan will range from about 250.000 yuan to 300.000 yuan.
The Audi A3 sedan and Sportback will be manufactured in China by the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture in a new factory in Foshan in Guangdong Province. There will be two engines available: a 1.4 TSFI with 138hp and a 1.8 TFSI with 176hp, both mated to a six-speed manual or a seven-speed S tronic DCT.
The Audi A3 sedan is the third China-made Audi sedan, after the stretched Audi A4L and Audi A6L. There are yet no plans for a stretched variant of the Audi A3, but impossible it is not. Price for the A4L starts at 272.800 and ends at 578.100 yuan. Price for the A6L starts at 383.000 yuan and ends at 472.600 yuan.
