Spy Shots: Geely Emgrand Cross testing in China

The very first spy shots of the new Geely Emgrand Cross testing in China. The Emgrand Cross debuted as a concept on the Beijing Auto Show in April, the production car will be launched on the Chinese car market in late 2015. The Emgrand Cross is designed by Peter Horbury and gets the same funky grille as the upcoming Emgrand EC9 sedan.

The Geely Emgrand Cross concept on the Beijing Auto Show. The concept was powered by a new PHEV power train consisting of a 88hp 1.0 liter four-cylinder gasoline engine mated to a 54hp electric motor. The production car however will most likely be powered by conventional 1.6 and 1.8 liter four-cylinder petrol engines.

Size (concept): 4430mm long, and a wheelbase of 2680mm.
