The Citroen DS 5LS 60 Years Anniversary Special Edition has been unveiled on the 2015 Chengdu Auto Show in China, celebrating the birth in 1955 of the original Citroen DS. The 60 Years Anniversary Special Edition comes painted in a typical yellow-gold color that is apparently the same as on the very first DS. Other special thingies:

Fake-carbon fiber mirrors with a ’60 DS 1955′ sticker under it, with some kinda wing in front.

The Citroen DS 5LS is a new China-only Citroen DS sedan based on the Citroen DS5 hatchback, it was launched on the Chinese market in March last year. Engines are a 160hp 1.6 turbo and a 200hp 1.6 turbo. The new 1.2 turbo is not out yet. Price starts at 149.800 yuan and ends at 246.800 yuan.

The DS range is manufactured in China by the Changan-PSA joint venture.

The 60 Years Anniversary Special Edition will be available with bit 1.6’es and cost a little bit more than the standard car, it is scheduled to hit the market in October. The special edition is unlimited, so forget about investing in one.

Seats in leather and alcantara, design apparently inspired too by that magical first 1955 DS car.  ’60 DS 1955′ badge stitched into seats.

Chrome strips still look very cool.

The 60 Years Anniversary Special Edition package is also available on the DS 6 SUV…

… and on the DS5, which oddly didn’t have the ’60 DS 1955′ sticker on its fat French ass.
