Guangzhou Auto GE3

Guangzhou Auto is set to launch four new electric cars in China until 2020. First up is an ungraded variant of their GE3 electric crossover called the GE3 530, it will have a range of 500 kilometers. The current model has a 310 kilometer range. The GE3 530 will debut later this year.

Things get really started in 2020 when Guangzhou Auto will unveil their second electric-car platform, larger than the platform where the GE3 is based on.

This new platform will underpin three new electric cars: a five-seat SUV, a seven-seat SUV, and a sedan. The SUVs will debut in 2019, the sedan in 2020. They will all have a range of about 600 kilometers.

Guangzhou Auto’s EVs are developed and manufactured by a subsidiary called Guangzhou Auto New Energy.
