The new Guangzhou Auto Trumpchi GM8 has been launched on the 2017 Guangzhou Auto Show, marking the brand’s entry into the full-size MPV segment, competing with cars like the Buick GL8 and the Honda Odyssey.
The dark blue beauty is the new Guangzhou Auto iSpace concept, as it was unveiled on this year’s Guangzhou Auto Show. The iSpace previews an upcoming electric car that will be build by a joint venture between Guangzhou Auto and internet giant Tencent.
The Guangzhou Auto Trumpchi GM8 is a highly anticipated mid-size seven-seat MPV. It will be launched on the Chinese car market in December.Price will start around $23,000, positioning the GM8 right in the middle of the booming MPV segment. Its most direct competitor will be the upcoming BYD Song Max.
S7 SUV has been launched on the Chinese car market. The GS7 is the smaller five-seat sister of the larger seven seat Trumpchi GS8. The GS7 has been redesigned from the C-pillar onward to the rear, and the lines, especially the third-side window, look less balanced than on the GS8. Nevertheless, it is still a great car to look at.

The new Guangzhou Auto Trumpchi GS7 SUV will be launched on the Chinese car market in June. Price will start at 155.800 yuan and end around 230.000 yuan. The Trumpchi GS7 is the short-wheelbase five-seat variant of the larger Tumpchi GS8 SUV.

It looks all right with a shiny grille, fins in the bumper, large mirrors, the usual messy D-pillar, and black wheel arches. The wheels however are a tad too small, just look at the rear wheel!
