Voyah Free Ultra Long Range EV Launched In China, Priced At 56,200 USD

The Voyah Free ultra long range model is officially launched in China on September 15 with a price of 393,600 RMB (56,200 USD). The ultra long range model is based on the current Voyah Free model and has a maximum cruising range of 730km (631km under CLTC condition).

The Voyah Free is a luxury SUV made by DongFeng under its Voyah sub-brand. The Chinese name is Lantu (岚图). The Voyah Free was first launched on December 2020.

Earlier this year, Voyah has opened its first Voyah Space in outside China in Klingenbergata, Oslo. Voyah is targeting other European countries and is using Norway as the stepping stone. The Free is the first car by Voyah to be exported to Europe.

With the launch of the Voyah Free ultra long range model, there are now three SUVs in the Voyah Free SUV product line together with Voyah Free and Voyah Free DNA.

The front face adopts a polygonal shape grille design with headlights on both sides.

The size of the car is 4905/1950/1645mm with a 2960mm wheelbase. The car runs on 20-inch rims and comes with hidden door handles. The side of the body is simple and slender.

The orange interior is eye-catching with a three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel and a triple-screen design that includes an instrument panel, a central control screen, and a screen for the co-pilot. The triple screen design further enhances the technological atmospher of the car. The car comes standard with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, which supports OTA updates. Furthermore, the interior is equipped with steering wheel heating, Huawei’s HiCar system, and wireless charging.

Power

The Voyah Free ultra long range model is equipped with a 106.7kWh battery pack, which has 21.25% higher capacity than the current Voyah Free standard model, and has a maximum cruising range of 730km (631km range under CLTC condition). The car comes with front and rear dual motors, with a combined power of 360kW and a peak torque of 720Nm. Its 0-100km/h acceleration time takes up to 4.4 seconds.
