The new Exeed LX 400T SUV has been launched on the Chinese car market with a price range of 139,000 – 149,900 RMB (20,700 – 22,300 USD), aiming at the younger consumer group. The Chinese name is Zhuifeng (追风). Previously, this car was launched as a limited edition, limited to only 100 units. Exeed is a sub-premium SUV brand under Chery, aimed at competing with Great Wall’s WEY brand and Changan’s UNI line.

The car comes with a 2.0T engine that outputs 261 hp (192 kW) and 400 Nm, matched with Getrag’s 7-speed DCT. The size of the car is 4533/1848/1699mm with a 2670mm wheelbase. In terms of safety, the Exeed LX 400T is equipped with 22 driving assistance functions such as adaptive cruise control, door opening warning, and traffic jam assistance.

The front face features a large grille, the EXEED logo is displayed in the center and headlights on both sides with four LED lights.

The car runs on multi-spoke black wheels with red brake calipers.

In the rear, the roof spoiler and the four golden exhausts on both sides further enhance the sportiness of the vehicle.

The interior adopts a 24.6-inch curved screen design powered by a Qualcomm 8155 Snapdragon chip, a double-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, black leather with stitching wraps, and is equipped with the Lion 5.0 Smart Cloud car and machine system that supports FOTA remote upgrade to enhance the human-machine technological interaction experience, AR real scene navigation, and facial recognition. The seats support heating and ventilation.

Other features include 50W wireless ultra-fast charging and a 9-speaker SONY sound system.
