The MG Cyberster two-door electric roadster’s price range leaked online is China, starting at 239,800 yuan (33,350 USD). It has appeared to be significantly cheaper than the Cyberster for the UK market that will reportedly start from 55,000 GBP (70,460 USD). The entry-level MG Cyberster has a 64-kWh battery for 501 km of range and a single electric motor on the rear axle for 314 hp.

MG Cyberster price range for the Chinese market

Previously, the starting price of the MG Cyberster was thought to be about of 300,000 yuan (41,730 USD). However, its entry level version appeared to be way more affordable, with a sticker price of 239,800 yuan (33,350 USD). We don’t know any information about its functional equipment. But we do know that it is a cost of the RWD model with a 314-hp e-motor and a 64-kWh battery for 501 km of range.

The second trim level costs 254,800 yuan (35,440 USD). It is equipped with a 77-kWh battery for 680 km of range. This battery pack powers a more powerful electric motor on the rear axle for 340 horses. As for the most expensive Cyberster for the Chiense market, it is available for 269,800 yuan (37,530 USD). It has the same 77-kWh battery and 4WD with two electric motors for a total power output of 544 hp. It can speed up from 0 to 100 km/h in 3 seconds. As for the range of the Cyberster, it reaches 520 km.

Here, we should underline that the top trim level of the MG Cyberster for the Chinese market is twice cheaper than the estimated price of this roadster for the UK market. We may guess that MG decided to silently lower prices in China before the official debut after the Neta GT launch. These cars will surely become close rivals in the domestic market.

All you need to know about the MG Cyberster

The MG Cyberster will be manufactured in China by SAIC Group. It is a pretty large two-door roadster with dimensions of 4535/1913/1329 mm and a wheelbase of 2690 mm. Its exterior is quite cool, with scissor doors and sporty bumpers. Inside, the Cyberster can be optionally equipped with a steering yoke. The driver has a total of three screens that form a single curved unit. The MG Cyberster will hit the Chinese market this year. As for the UK, it will launch here in 2024.
