The Bozhi 4X pure electric SUV was launched on November 17 in China with a price range of 179,800 – 238,800 yuan (25,200 – 33,500 USD). Consumers can choose from a total of four models, available in both single-motor and dual-motor powertrains. The Bozhi 4X is the ‘upgraded version’ of the previously released bZ4X.
Bozhi (铂智) is a new energy vehicle sub-brand under the GAC-Toyota joint venture in China, launched on November 17 at the 2023 Guangzhou Auto Show. The 4X is the sub-brand’s first model.
Positioned as a medium-sized SUV and built based on the e-TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) platform, the Bozhi 4X measures 4690/1860/1650 mm with a 2850 mm wheelbase.
In terms of appearance, the Bozhi 4X features a black roof, blackened A, B, and C pillars, a charging port on the right front fender, and blackened exterior mirrors.
The entire series is equipped with a 66.7 kWh ternary lithium battery pack. Under fast charging, it takes about 30 minutes to replenish the battery from 30% to 80%.

Inside, the cockpit is designed based on the Toyota Space concept with a 7-inch instrument panel, a 12.3-inch central control screen, a three-spoke oval-shaped multi-function steering wheel, and a large number of physical buttons. The interior is available in three colors: black, gray, and red.
In addition, the Bozhi 4X comes standard with eight airbags, a level 2 T-PILOT advanced driving assistance system, Apple CarPlay, Baidu CarLife, Huawei HiCar, and rear air-conditioners. The high-end models support facial recognition, steering wheel heating, wireless charging, front seat heating and ventilation, and nine JBL speakers for the audio system.
