Recently, Dongfeng Voyah’s upcoming Zhiyin all-electric SUV was spied in camouflage. The car was declared in May by the Chinese MIIT and is expected to launch in the third quarter of this year targeting the young family consumer group. Zhiyin is the brand’s first global model after the launch of the Let’s Voyah overseas strategy.
The Let’s Voyah strategy establishes the “6655” goals, meaning by 2030, the brand will be present in six continents, across 60 countries, build 500 sales and service outlets, and achieve cumulative overseas sales of more than 500,000 vehicles.

The Voyah Zhiyin will be built based on Dongfeng’s Electric Smart Secure Architecture (ESSA) and will be equipped with a new generation of the “Lanhai Power-BEV”.
The Voyah Zhiyin will offer both rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, matched with ternary lithium battery packs from CATL.
- Rear-wheel drive: 215 kW (288 hp) or 230 kW (308 hp) electric motor, 77 kWh battery pack, 625 km range (CLTC)
- Long-range rear-wheel drive: 215 kW or 230 kW electric motor, 109 kWh battery pack, 901 km range (CLTC)
- Four-wheel drive: dual 160 kW (215 hp) electric motors, 77 kWh battery pack, 570 km range (CLTC)
In addition, the Voyah Zhiyin will come with an 800V silicon carbide high-voltage platform and 5C battery supercharging technology in which it can achieve a 450 km increase in range after charging for 10 minutes.

The car measures 4725/1900/1636 (1653) mm, with a 2900 mm wheelbase, positioned as a medium-sized SUV. It is worth mentioning that in January this year, Voyah and Huawei reached a strategic cooperation, and the Voyah Zhiyin is expected to be equipped with Huawei’s smart cockpit and smart driving system.

For the exterior, the Voyah Zhiyin is round, coupled with a closed front face, a luminous Voyah logo, a through-type LED light strip, and hidden door handles. According to the declaration information, Lantu Zhiyin will offer a low-drag and a sports blade rim, both of which are 20 inches in size. The car will also be manufactured at the Dongfeng Nissan plant in China.

Furthermore, according to the interior spy shoot, the overall layout is minimalistic featuring a flat-bottom steering wheel, a suspended central control screen, and a layered center console design with two wireless charging panels on the top and a storage area as well as two cupholders on the bottom.
We’ll watch closely for more information!
