Lynk & Co has unveiled teaser images of its upcoming electric compact SUV, the Z20. It will debut on October 11 in Milan, Italy, with a European launch to follow, marking the brand’s push into the electric vehicle market. Built on Geely’s SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) platform, the Z20 shares its platform with models such as the Zeekr X (see specs), Smart #1 (see specs), and Volvo EX30 (see specs). The Z20 has been spotted being delivered across dealerships in China earlier this week.

The Z20’s design aligns with Lynk & Co’s latest design language found on the Z10. It features a coupe-like silhouette with a sloping roofline and full-width LED taillights that extend across the rear. The front of the vehicle includes the brand’s signature H-shaped LED daytime running lights and a large lower grille. The headlights are integrated into the front bumper, while the car also sports newly designed five-spoke wheels. These design choices give the Z20 a modern and sleek appearance, similar to other compact crossovers.

At the rear, the Z20 is equipped with a distinctive full-width taillight design that integrates vertical light bars, enhancing the vehicle’s visibility. The blacked-out rear bumper, combined with silver trim, contrasts and emphasizes the Z20’s layered design. In terms of dimensions, the Z20 is slightly larger than the Zeekr X. It measures 4460 mm in length, 1845 mm in width, and 1573 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2755 mm. These dimensions place it firmly within the compact SUV category.

The Z20 is powered by a 250 kW electric motor, confirmed by information released through China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). This motor is expected to provide solid performance, although further details regarding battery capacity have yet to be disclosed. The Z20 will be equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery, differentiating it from the Zeekr X, which uses a different battery composition.

The vehicle offers five-wheel design options with tire sizes between 18 and 19 inches. It includes semi-concealed door handles, a window line that rises toward the C-pillar, and a rear spoiler integrated with the taillights.

Inside, the Z20 is expected to come with a flat-bottom steering wheel, dual wireless phone charging pads, and a floating entertainment screen. While official interior images have not yet been released, spy shots suggest these features will be part of the final design.

Lynk & Co’s global strategy with the Z20 includes a simultaneous launch in Europe and China. After its debut in Milan, the Z20 will likely be showcased at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November. As the brand continues to expand its presence in the electric vehicle segment, the Z20 is expected to be available in a range of configurations tailored for different regions.
