The updated Leapmotor C10 crossover was launched in China with a starting price of 122,800 yuan (17,000 USD). Its BEV variant adopts a high-voltage 800V platform and a range of 605 km under CLTC conditions. This model will start deliveries on May 20 this year.
The Leapmotor C10 initially entered the Chinese market in March 2024. This model entered overseas markets, including Europe. On May 15, the 2026 model year C10 was launched in China. It’s hard to say why Leapmotor is positioning this crossover as a 2026 model since it’s not even mid-2025. Aside from a quirky model year name, the Leapmotor C10 boasts seemingly updated specs.
The 2026 model year Leapmotor C10’s exterior aligns with its predecessor. The car retains a highly minimalistic look with two curved headlights joined by an LED strip. Its front bumper has a large air intake. The Leapmotor C10 has a LiDAR sensor on the roof. Other features of this model are retractable door handles and a single taillight unit. It has six exterior colors: green, black, light gray, purple, dark gray, and white.
The interior of the 2026 model year C10 has two interior shades: orange and purple. The car’s center console adopts a large touchscreen with a diameter of 14.6 inches. There is a 10.25-inch LCD instrument panel and a gear shifter behind a two-spoke steering wheel with a flat bottom. Another highlight of the model is the 12 speakers. The infotainment system of the Leapmotor C10 adopts the Snapdragon 8295 chip.
The all-electric variant of the updated Leapmotor C10 switched to the 800V high-voltage system. This technology helps the battery to charge and discharge more effectively. The battery capacity was also improved. The 2026 C10 adopts an LFP pack for 74.9 kWh. The car’s CLTC range reached 605 km. The car’s battery charges from 30% to 80% in 16 minutes.
Thanks to an 800V system, the all-electric Leapmotor C10 has a more powerful electric motor with a peak output of 220 kW (295 hp). It is a noticeable 50 kW (67 hp) increase over the previous model year C10 with 170 kW (228 hp). The new model can speed up to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. For comparison, the old model had a zero-to-hundred acceleration time of 7.3 seconds.
The EREV variant of the Leapmotor C10 has an electric motor for 170 kW (228 hp). It has an LFP battery with a capacity of 28.4 kWh. The electric range of this model is 140 km under WLTC conditions. It has a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine for 70 kW (94 hp) under the hood. It acts as a generator. The mixed range of this model reaches 1,020 km, thanks to the 50-liter fuel tank.
The all-electric Leapmotor C10 has a price range of 122,800 – 142,800 yuan (17,000 – 19,800 USD). The range-extended model sits in the price range of 122,800 – 132,800 yuan (17,000 – 18,400 USD).
