The updated Lynk & Co 01 compact crossover from Geely arrived at dealers across China ahead of the sales start. This vehicle will start sales in the local market with an estimated price range of 149,800 – 181,800 yuan (20,850 – 25,300 USD).
The 01 is Lynk & Co’s first vehicle, launched in 2017. It is also the brand’s first global model that was launched in Europe with an unusual subscription service. Despite living without a new generation for eight years straight, this vehicle gets minor updates on a regular basis. On June 10, the Lynk & Co 01 will be updated once again for the 2025 model year. Its price tag will be lowered. Now, this vehicle has arrived at dealerships ahead of the official launch.
The updated Lynk & Co 01 arrived at dealers across China. The exterior of this variant aligns with its predecessor. The 01 crossover has distinguishing running lights atop the bonnet and smoked high beams integrated into the front bumper. The car has a slightly redesigned air intake in the front bumper. From the back, the Lynk & Co 01 has two elongated taillight units and dual exhaust pipes. Other Lynk & Co 01 features include conventional door handles, roof racks, and a sporty rear spoiler.
The core feature of the 2025 model year Lynk & Co 01 is a new body color called “Night Shadow Blue”. The updated model rides on 20-inch wheels that add some sportiness to its stance. Dimensions of the updated Lynk & Co 01 remained the same at 4549/1860/1689 mm with a wheelbase of 2,734 mm.
In contrast with a merely changed exterior, the Lynk & Co 01’s interior got more visible updates. The new car adopts a large floating touchscreen in the center console and a new D-shaped steering wheel. The center tunnel of this crossover became more minimalistic. It has two wireless charging pads, a smaller gear shifter, and a hidden compartment. A block of physical buttons was removed, which means the driver will need to interact with a screen more.
The Lynk & Co 01 boasts seats wrapped in suede and leather. The front seats of the car have a sporty shape with integrated headrests and pronounced side support. Moreover, the new model provides a head-up display, ambient lighting, the Infinity sound system, and a sunroof.
The powertrain of the new Lynk & Co 01 remained the same. The car uses a 2-liter turbocharged engine with a peak power output of 187 kW (251 hp) and torque of 350 Nm. This ICE is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The car has a multi-link independent suspension system in the rear axle. Another benefit of this vehicle is the all-wheel drive.
According to the unofficial information leaked online, the estimated price range of the updated Lynk & Co 01 is 149,800 – 181,800 yuan (20,850 – 25,310 USD). For clarity, the currently available model costs 155,800 – 196,800 yuan (21,690 – 27,400 USD). This price reduction aims to enhance the Lynk & Co 01’s sales volume, as this model sold less than 3,000 units from January to April 2025.
