The Zeekr 9X flagship plug-in hybrid SUV from Geely revealed its interior for the first time in China. The spy shot showed a large 30-inch monitor similar to the previously launched Lynk & Co 900. The Zeekr 9X will enter the domestic market in Q3 this year. It boasts a 900V system, a 2-liter ICE, two electric motors, and a 6C battery.
The Zeekr 9X flagship SUV made its official debut at the Shanghai Auto Show 2025 on April 23. It is a full-size vehicle aimed to rival its luxury competitors like the YangWang U8 and crossovers from legacy brands. The car’s exterior adopts the new design language that echoes the Zeekr 009 minivan. On June 6, the interior of the Zeekr 9X was exposed for the first time.
The Zeekr 9X SUV’s interior aligns with the Lynk & Co 900 and the Geely Galaxy M9. These two models are the 9X’s cheaper siblings under the Geely Group’s umbrella. The Zeekr flagship model adopts a 30-inch 6K screen in the center console. This monitor boasts a display resolution of 6K. It can be used by a driver and a front passenger simultaneously. In the Lynk & Co 900’s case, the Snapdragon 8295 chip powers the monitor.
Another feature of the Zeekr 9X is a gear shifter mounted behind the wheel. There is also a sensor on the steering column that monitors the driver’s condition. The center tunnel of this large crossover adopts two wireless charging pads and a hidden compartment. It is worth noting that the spotted model is a test vehicle. The market-ready variant of the Zeekr 9X could have some adjustments.
It was previously disclosed that the rear doors of the Zeekr 9X have a length of over 1 meter. They can also open up to 90 degrees, ensuring an easier entry. The Zeekr 9X has three rows of seats. However, no further information about the vehicle’s interior was provided.
The Zeekr 9X is a large SUV with a 5.2-meter body and a 3.2-meter wheelbase. It rides on 22-inch chrome-plated wheels. The car’s front end adopts a massive grille surrounded by LED headlights. The Zeekr 9X adopts a LiDAR sensor on the roof. Its other features include conventional door handles and a ring-type taillight unit that comprises 43,343 individual facets.
The Zeekr 9X adopts the G-Pilot H9 driving assistance system powered by two Nvidia Drive Thor chips with a combined computing power output of 1,400 TOPS (trillion operations per second). It is currently the industry-leading number with Tesla AI 4 chip having 720 TOPS. Other features of the G-Pilot H9 include 13 cameras, 3 mm-wave radars, and several LiDARs. It is the L3-ready model capable of a map-free Navigate On Autopilot (NOA) function with an AI parking spot searching.
The Zeekr 9X is a plug-in hybrid SUV with a 2-liter turbocharged engine for 205 kW (274 hp). This ICE is paired with two electric motors. The first one sits in the front axle with a peak power of 290 kW (388 hp). And the rear electric motor generates 370 kW (496 hp). The Zeekr 9X adopts a 6C Qilin ternary NMC battery pack from CATL. The electric range of this massive car reaches 380 km. It can charge from 20% to 80% in just 9 minutes.
Another feature of the Zeekr 9X is the dual-chamber air suspension and the dual-valve CDC continuous damping system. This combination allows you to adjust the 9X’s riding height by 110 mm. The ground clearance of this model reaches 288 mm.
Zeekr is a high-end NEV brand under Geely Group launched in 2021. Its current model line comprises six cars. Zeekr sold 71,640 cars in from January to May 2025, accroding to China EV DataTracker.
