The new Changan Nevo Q05 electric SUV revealed its interior in China ahead of the sales start scheduled for November this year. This Atto 3 rival will start at approximately 110,000 yuan (15,450 USD). The Q05 offers a large floating touchscreen, an LCD instrument cluster, and a front passenger seat with a zero-gravity mode.

The first generation of the Changan Nevo Q05 (domestic name is Qiyuan Q05) was launched in China in 2023 as a PHEV variant of the petrol-powered Changan CS55 Plus (Changan Uni-S). This SUV offered a parallel plug-in hybrid with a 1.5-liter engine for 81 kW (109 hp) and an e-motor for 158 kW (212 hp). The top-rim Q05 had a 19 kWh battery. The price range of this model lies in a 96,900 – 112,900 yuan (13,610 – 15,860 USD) range.

Despite its low price tag, the Nevo Q05 didn’t become a market success. According to China EV DataTracker, Changan delivered 15,247 units of this crossover domestically. This year, the Chinese automaker is preparing to launch the new Q05. It turned out to be a battery electric model that will rival the BYD Atto 3 (Yuan Plus). The Q05 revealed interior in China.

There is a spacious compartment under the center tunnel. The electric Q05 has a stalk-mounted gear shifter. The front passenger seat adopts a zero-gravity function that relieves the load from the spine. The front seat also offers a power-operated leg support.

The second-row seats of the Changan Nevo Q05 adopt the third headrest and a central armrest with two cup holders. Other highlights of this model include a large sunroof and an independent air vent. We can highlight a drawback of this SUV, which is a large ADAS block that sits behind the windscreen. It could reduce visibility.
