Lynk & Co 03 with 268 hp gets a large carbon fiber adjustable spoiler in China
The Lynk & Co 03 sedan from Geely Automobile will get a large carbon fiber spoiler in China. This configuration of the petrol-powered model with a 2-liter engine for 268 hp will enter the market on March 5. So what’s the point of such a device?
The Lynk & Co 03 is a compact sedan that first entered the domestic market in 2018. It stands on the CMA modular architecture that also underpins the Volvo XC40. This model got a few major updates during its lifecycle. The latest variant started sales in October 2025. It is positioned as the third generation. However, it is actually a facelift.
The Lynk & Co 03 Large Rear Wing Edition
On February 27, Lynk & Co officials shared images of the new 03 sedan variant with a straightforward name: “Large Rear Wing Edition.” The car in the photos indeed has one. It is a large carbon fiber rear spoiler that sits on the trunk lid from the factory. This spoiler could be adjusted in three stages with 0°, 8°, and 16° angles, respectively. It reportedly improves vehicle stability under different driving conditions.

The side panels of the rear wing look fancy with a “Downforce” inscription and a printed map of the Ningbo International Circuit, which was a venue for the World Touring Car Championship Race of China back in 2018. Moreover, the Lynk & Co 03 Large Rear Wing Edition also has a blackened ducktail spoiler, a “Fiery Red” interior color, and sporty rims. The styling makes its best to convince everyone they are looking at an exceptionally sporty vehicle.

However, this version of the Lynk & Co 03 is equipped with a 2-liter in-line four-cylinder with a peak power of 200 kW (268 hp) and a maximum torque of 400 Nm. The ICE works with an Aisin 8-speed automatic gearbox with a torque inverter. The car offers FWD and speeds up to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds. So, it isn’t exactly a high-performance car, judging by modern standards.
Editor’s comment
The relevance of sticking a large spoiler on a car that is slightly faster than average is questionable. However, such a decision could work quite well in China for several reasons. First, this model has a high-performance variant called Lynk & Co 03+ domestically. It has up to 350 hp and also has a carbon fiber rear spoiler. It means some Chinese car enthusiasts will be able to buy an affordable version of the sedan, which looks more expensive than it actually is.

The second reason is the halo that the Lynk & Co 03 has in China. We will remind you that the racing version of this car is a multiple winner of the World Touring Car Cap. As a result, many owners of these models in China are actively involved in tuning. And Lynk & Co is getting ready to offer them a car with road-legal equipment straight from the factory.
This giant rear wing on a 268-hp car could look funny at a glance. However, it seems that it has an actual point in the context of China.
