The facelifted Chery A1 will be listed on the Chinese market in mid-August. Changes to the exterior are small with only a slightly updated front section. Changes in the interior are bigger with a new dashboard. Biggest news comes from under the hood with a brand new 1.0 engine. The only engine available now is a 1.3.

The 1.0 has 51kw and 93nm, the 1.3 has 61kw and 114nm. Price of the current 1.3 starts at 49.800 yuan. The 1.0 will start around 45.000 yuan. The 1.0 will get a 5-speed manual gearbox, the 1.3 has either a 4-speed automatic or the same 5-speed manual.

New dash loox much cleaner than before.

Chery seems really proud of this, all press pics show a new digital instrument in close up. Cool it is indeed.
