Spy Shots: new Nissan Sylphy testing in China

The very first spy shots of the new Nissan Sylphy testing in China. The new Sylphy will debut later this year and will be made in China by the Dongfeng-Nissan joint venture. There will be no less than four engines: a new 1.6 and 1.6 turbo and the old 1.8 and 2.0 will continue.

Rendering of the new Nissan Sylphy. Production of the current Sylphy will continue, it will be renamed ‘Sylphy Classic‘ and is meant for budget buyers. Price of the new car will start around 130.000 yuan, the Sylphy Classic around 110.000 yuan. The old Sylphy is also used by Dongfeng for their Fengsheng A60, basically a rebadged Sylphy, that will be listed in June next year, price will start around 100.000 yuan.
