The 2025 model year Geely Panda Mini electric city car was launched in China as the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV rival. Starting at 49,900 yuan (6,850 USD), this city car has new exterior and interior styling. The new Panda Mini boasts 210 km of CLTC range.

The Geely Panda Mini was launched in China in February 2023 to rival the well-known Wuling Hongguang Mini EV from the SGMW joint venture. This model sold over 284,000 units from February 2023 to March 2025, according to China EV DataTracker. To keep the volume high, Geely launched a new variant of this cute EV. It became available for purchase in a single trim level called Geely Panda Mini Vitality Bear.

The new Geely Panda Mini has a refreshed exterior styling. Its main features include a black strip that crosses the front end, a new front bumper with oval-shaped elements, and a roof spoiler. The 2025 Panda Mini adopts three-spoke 13-inch wheels. This model has four body color options: beige, pink, white, and blue. The dimensions of the 2025 Panda Mini are 3085/1522/1600 mm, and the wheelbase is 2015 mm.

The 2025 Panda Mini interior is available in three colors: pink, black, and green. The car’s center console was slightly redesigned. The physical climate control block became smaller. More functions moved to the center screen. The new Panda Mini also got new oval-shaped air vents and a new LCD instrument cluster. A shelf in front of the front passenger was removed to make enough space for an airbag.

The new Panda Mini has a rotary gear shifter, an 8-inch LCD instrument panel, and a 9.2-inch center screen. Other features of the car include a multi-function steering wheel, a smartphone holder, and a bag hook. The Panda Mini has a rear-view camera, rear parking radars, two airbags, and an ESP system. The car adopts a 69-liter trunk and boasts a turning radius of 4 meters.

Powertrain and prices

The 2025 Geely Panda Mini has an LFP 17-kWh battery pack made by Gotion. It sends power to a 30 kW (40 hp) electric motor mounted in the rear axle. The car’s top speed is limited to 100 km/h. The new Panda Mini can run up to 210 km on a single charge under CLTC conditions. Thanks to a 22 kW DC charging, the car can charge from 30% to 80% in 30 minutes.

The 2025 Geely Panda Mini Vitality Bear costs 49,900 yuan (6,850 USD) in China. It is currently available for purchase alongside the old Panda Mini, which is priced between 29,900 – 53,900 yuan (4,100 – 7,400 USD).
