Volvo XC90-based updated Lynk & Co 09 MHEV enters China for 33,510 USD
The updated 2026 model year Lynk & Co 09 MHEV was launched in China for 238,800 yuan (33,510 USD). It is a full-size SUV crossover based on the SPA platform, which underpins the Volvo XC90. It is available for purchase with five seats and a 2-liter ICE for 250 hp.
The Lynk & Co 09 entered China in late 2021 as the flagship model of Geely’s upper-class brand. Four years later, a new flagship SUV was launched in China – the Lynk & Co 900. To prevent internal competition between these crossovers, Lynk & Co launched the 2026 model year 09 with only a five-seat interior available.

The 2026 model year Lynk & Co 09 got two new shades: purple and green. They are complemented by black and white. The car’s interior is offered in two color combinations: black & brown and black & white. Seats of the Lynk & Co 09 are covered with Nappa leather. The second row of this SUV offers a width of 1,366 mm. Rear seats are also heated, ventilated, and provide an 8-point massage.
The front passenger seat of the Lynk & Co 09 supports a zero-gravity mode. It also has a 280-mm power leg rest. The center console adopts a 15.4-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch LCD instrument panel. Previously, the Lynk & Co 09 was available with six and seven seats. However, the 2026 model year variant has only five.
The Lynk & Co 09’s trunk offers a standard volume of 691 liters. With the second-row seats folded, this number reaches 1,522 liters. Dimensions of the vehicle are 5042/1977/1780 mm. The wheelbase reaches 2,984 mm. The updated Lynk & Co 09’s ground clearance is 180 mm. This version has no air suspension. The car’s turning radius is 6.15 meters.
Powertrain & prices
The Lynk & Co 09 has a 2-liter Drive-E internal combustion engine complemented by a 48V belt starter generator. This mild-hybrid system has a peak power output of 250 hp. This model comes standard with an 8AT made by Aisin and a 4WD system. Its zero-to-hundred acceleration time is 8 seconds. The top speed reaches 215 km/h.
The Lynk & Co 09 MHEV is available for purchase in two trim levels: Max and Ultra. Their price range is 238,800 – 248,800 yuan (33,510 – 34,910 USD). The price range with all limited-time discounts applied is 198,800 – 208,800 yuan (27,900 – 29,300 USD). This year, the Lynk & Co 09 turned into a global model by launching in Kazakhstan. In the future, this SUV will enter other global markets.
