The special edition of the Zeekr 001 electric liftback from Geely was released in China to mark the model’s fifth anniversary. It adopts the FR-Line exterior and interior package, sporty suspension, and a dual-motor AWD for 680 kW (912 hp).
The Zeekr 001 entered the Chinese market in 2021 as the brand’s first model. In 2024, Zeekr launched the new 001 with a power boost to 580 kW (778 hp) from 400 kW (536 hp) of the outgoing version. In October 2025, Zeekr updated the 001 liftback again, adding a 900V high-voltage system and a dual-motor AWD for 680 kW.
Zeekr began domestic deliveries of the 001 EV in November 2021. According to China EV DataTracker, deliveries of this model reached 301,720 units as of February 2026. At the same time, Zeekr sells the 001 liftback in various foreign regions, including Europe, Central Asia, and North America. Despite previous rumors of the 001’s upcoming replacement, Zeekr officials clarified that this EV will continue as the brand’s core model for an extended period. On April 10, Zeekr will launch the special edition of the 001.

The newly released variant of the vehicle is called Zeekr 001 5th Anniversary Edition. It adopts the exclusive FR-Line exterior package with red badges, 22-inch forged wheels with Pirelli P Zero tires, and a carbon-fiber rear spoiler. Other highlights include a blackened roof, six-piston Brembo brake calipers, and the Glacier Silver body color.
The car’s interior also adopts the FR-Line style. The front seats are wrapped in red Alcantara leather with black checkered flag patterns in the middle. Second-row seats, in contrast, are finished in black with red checkered flags. The car reminds you it is a special edition by the FR-Line badges on the headrests and doorsteps. Other interior highlights include red seatbelts, suede-covered ceiling, red elements on the center console and the steering wheel, and 29 speakers.
The Zeekr 001 5th Anniversary Edition comes standard with KW-made coilover suspension. It supports 16-level rebound damping and 12-level compression damping adjustment. The ride height could be adjusted in a range of up to 35 mm. Zeekr officials shared that the German KW team spent three years completing the whole vehicle calibration with the 7-Post Rig driving dynamics test bench. As a result, they improved 200 parameters, including steering response, driving stability, and handling.
The Zeekr 001 5th Anniversary Edition adopts a dual-motor AWD with a peak power of 680 kW. It speeds up to 100 km/h in 2.91 seconds. The top speed reaches 280 km/h. A CATL’s Qilin ternary NMC battery for 103 kWh powers the powertrain. It supports the 6C technology, charging from 10% to 80% in 10 minutes. The 001’s range reaches 680 km under CLTC conditions. The car also adopts the G-Pilot H7 assisted driving system with a LiDAR sensor and the Nvidia Drive Thor-U chip for 700 TOPS.
