Zeekr 9X global rollout starts June, Europe entry set for Q4 2026; 8X follows late 2026
Zeekr will begin exporting its flagship 9X SUV to overseas markets starting in June 2026, according to Geely Auto Group CEO Gan Jiayue. The model is scheduled to enter the Middle East first, followed by Central Asia in the third quarter, and Europe in the fourth quarter, according to CLS.
The executive also confirmed that the Zeekr 8X will follow with overseas market expansion beginning in the fourth quarter of 2026 and continuing into the first quarter of 2027.
Delivery scale and positioning
In the first quarter of 2026, Zeekr 9X deliveries reached 22,000 units, according to company data disclosed during the earnings call, confirmed by China EV DataTracker. The model has already surpassed 50,000 cumulative deliveries since its market launch in September 2025.
The 9X is positioned in China’s large SUV segment, priced above 500,000 yuan (approximately 69,000 USD), with an average transaction price of about 530,000 yuan (around 73,000 USD).
Product overview
The Zeekr 9X is a full-size plug-in hybrid SUV built on Geely’s SEA-based architecture. It uses a tri-motor system combined with a turbocharged engine, delivering up to 1,030 kW of total output and a combined driving range of around 1,250 km under CLTC conditions.
The model is Zeekr’s first plug-in hybrid offering, expanding beyond its earlier battery-electric lineup.
Zeekr 8X expansion
The Zeekr 8X, which is also planned for overseas rollout, targets a similar high-performance segment. Based on earlier disclosures, the model features a tri-motor hybrid system with a peak output of 1,381 hp and a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 2.96 seconds.
The Zeekr 8X is priced between 356,800 yuan and 426,800 yuan (51,999–62,207 USD), with limited-time pricing starting at 329,800 yuan (48,057 USD).
Scaling global presence
Geely has been increasing international shipments as part of its broader expansion strategy. The company previously stated a target of 640,000 overseas sales in 2026, with Zeekr positioned as a key contributor in premium segments.
The 9X has already been confirmed for additional markets, including Australia, with launches expected between late 2026 and early 2027.

According to China EV DataTracker, Zeekr recorded 59,466 domestic sales in Q1 2026, representing a 48.3% year-on-year increase, while quarter-on-quarter sales declined by 15.5%. The brand’s market share reached 1.4% during the period, up from 0.8% in Q1 2025.
