New spy shots from the upcoming Chang’an Eado hatchback, based on the Chang’an Eado sedan that was launched on the Chinese car market back in March. The Eado hatchback will be called ‘Eado XT’ when it hits the Chinese auto market sometime next year.

The Chang’an Eado XT will get a more sporty image than the sedan. All marketing for sure, but the small wing above the window is a good start. Power will come from the same 124hp 1.6 that powers the Eado sedan but a hotter 150hp 1.5 turbo is on the way as well. Price for the hatch will start just under 70.000 yuan.
