Spy Shots: facelift for the Citroen C5 in China
Citroen is working on a small facelift for the C5 in China. The facelift includes restyled lights and bumpers and the facelifted Citroen C5 will get a new 1.6 turbo with 140hp and 240nm. The facelifted Citroen C5 will debut on the Guangzhou Auto Show later this month.
Current Citroen C5, made in China by the Dongfeng-PSA joint venture. Price starts at 176.900 yuan and ends at 298.900 yuan. Engines: 2.0, 2.3 and 3.0 V6. The new 1.6 turbo will replace the 2.0. Prices will be about the same.
New lights. New bigger Citroen logo with the brand name thereunder. Facelifted car doesn’t have much more chrome than the outgoing car, that indeed is against the trend in the Chinese auto market where more chrome is the rule.
