China’s newest car maker Yangtze River Jialing Motor Manufacturing has applied for patent on a mid-size SUV that seems design-wise inspired by the Ford Flex. The vehicle seems about 5 meters long and will likely compete in the 80.000-130.000 yuan SUV market.
Sporty spare wheel and double exhaust. Yangtze River Jialing Motor Manufacturing is a somewhat mysterious company, it is likely a subsidiary of the ‘China Jialing Group‘, aka ‘China Jialing Industrial Corporation’, one of the biggest motorcycle manufactures in China with close ties to Honda. Earlier on we saw spy shots of a smaller SUV that will sell in the 60.000 to 80.000 range.
The coming out party for Yangtze River Jialing Motor Manufacturing is expected to happen on the Chengdu Auto Show in September. We, can’t wait.
