A very speedy and very white Mercedes-Benz E-L Class police car, seen in west Beijing by reader Stefan M., thank you for the picture! The V212 Mercedes-Benz E-L is a stretched variant of the W212 E-Class, made in China by the Beijing-Benz joint venture. It was recently replaced by the facelifted 2013 model, which was renamed ‘E Class L’. The lengthy Ee sure makes a fine police car. Steady in the corners and enough space in the back for a whole flock of arrested criminals. The Chinese police likes Mercedes-Benz, earlier on we saw coppers cruising the hood in a Honda’d ML.
