The Volvo S60 will debut in China on the Guangzhou Auto Show starting next week. It will be an import, the new Geely-Volvo factory is not ready yet and won’t be ready for at least a year. The S40 and S80 are still being made in China by Chang’an Automobile from the days of the 3-way Ford-Mazda-Chang’an joint venture.

Volvo expects the high end T6 AWD to be the most succesful in China, Chinese car buyers indeed prefer the best and most expensive if they buy an already expensive car.
