The new Changan BenBen has been launched on the China car market, and it is arguably the best looking Chinese mini car ever. Price for the Changan BenBen starts at 47.900 yuan and ends at 56.900 yuan. The new BenBen debuted last December on the 2013 Guangzhou Auto Show.

Interior is very funky fizzy as well. All versions come standard with a large touch screen in the center console. Note sharp-shaped mirrors, Changan really did go all the way here.

Power comes from a new 1.4 with 101hp and 136nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic. A 1.2 with  85hp will join the line-up later this year. Size: 3730/1650/1530, wheelbase is 2410 and curb weight is 1020kg. Top speed is 156km/h and fuel consumption is 5.6 liter per 100km.

The new Changan BenBen will compete with less good looking mini cars such as the Chery QQ, the Geely GLEagle Panda, and the Suzuki Alto.

Alloys are very speedy too. This thing would look great in black, with bigger tires, and with about 130hp under the bonnet…
