The FAW Junpai D60 SUV has been launched on the Chinese car market, and it has become a rather good looking car. Price starts at 64.900 yuan and ends at 99.900 yuan. ‘Junpai’ is a new brand under the First Auto Works (FAW) umbrella and the D60 is their first car. The D60 is manufactured by Tianjin-FAW, a FAW subsidiary based in the great city of Tianjin.
A very good looking dash for the money. Well designed with fine materials. Center console particularly good, with a large touch screen and neatly positioned buttons.
The Junpai D60 is available with two petrol-powered four-cylinder engines: a 1.5 with 102hp and 135nm, and a 1.8 with 139hp and 170nm, both mated to a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic.
Size: 4170/1765/1625mm, wheelbase is 2557mm. Curb weight in kg: 1206 (1.6) / 1276 (1.8).
Sleek rear lights and a sharp shoulder line. The Junpai D60 will compete with fine cars such as the Changan CS35, the Haval H2, the JAC Refine S3, and the Chery Tiggo 3. The D60 is a good looking car with a fine interior, it is just the engines that are a little old and underpowered. Even so, we expect the Junpai D60 to sell reasonably well.
