The all-new Zotye Z700 sedan has been launched on the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show. The Zotye Z700, formerly known as the Zotye Z600, is the largest Zotye-branded vehicle ever, it will be launched on the Chinese car market in the third quarter of the year.
The Zotye Z700 will be positioned above the Zotye Z500 sedan. Price will start around 110.000 yuan and end around 160.000 yuan. There will be two four-cylinder petrol engines available: a 2.0 turbo with 177hp and 250nm, and a 1.8 turbo with about 150hp. Both engines will be mated to a six-speed DCT.
The interior is where Zotye went furthest in finding Audi. Even the sides of the center tunnel seem a 1:1 copy. The screen pops out at exactly the same place. Fuzzily, where the Audi has the alarm button the Zotye has a clock. Compare with the 2015 Audi A6.
No matter that Audi-thing, the Zotye Z700 seems a well-built and well-designed car, and certainly is the best looking Zotye so far. The rear bench looks comfortable, with lots of leather and wood, and a large sunroof for that airy feeling.
Strong lines around the C-pillar. Alloys look racy. Round exhaust pipes sitting low in the bumper.
The Zotye Z logo proudly in the shiny chromed grille, and rightly so, as the Z700 has become quite an impressive car.
