Spy Shots showing the facelifted Toyota Yaris L, and it looks scary. It has a very strange front with a small grille and a black mustache, then there are mean looking headlights, huge truck-like mirrors, and tiny toy-car like wheels. The facelifted Yaris L will debut on the Beijing Auto Show later this month and hit the Chinese car market in H2.

This is the current car, not too pretty either, but it won’t scare people. The Yaris L is a China-only Toyota based on the Asia-only Yaris XP150. It launched in 2013 and is manufactured by the Guangzhou-Toyota joint venture. Power comes from a 99hp 1.3 or a 107hp 1.5. Price starts at 69.800 yuan and ends at 108.800 yuan.

The 1.3 will continue but the 1.5 will be replaced by a new 1.2 turbo with a yet unknown output. Price range will be about the same. We will post new pictures of this curious car as soon as we got them.
