Spotted in China: Geely Meirenbao with the Hood open
A bright red Geely Meirenbao coupe seen at a small repair shop next to the mighty Liangmahe River that passes through the east of the city. According to a mechanic the engine made far too much noise, caused by a yet unknown problem. This is the original Meirenbao that debuted back in 2003. Almost all early cars that were sold were red, it was also the color Geely used to advertise the Meirenbao. Engine was a tiny 1.3 good enough for a 180km/h top speed. For more Meirenbao history see an earlier article here.
