Lifan and Ricardo to develop Engine in China

Lifan and Ricardo of England have teamed up to develop new engines for Lifan’s passenger cars. First engine to be developed is a 1.2 turbo with 102kw and 200nm. The engine will be launched within two or three years, the upcoming new Lifan 520 will be the first car to carry it. The engines will be made in China at a Lifan factory.
