The Beijing Auto (aka Beiqi) T60 debuted as a concept at the Shanghai Auto Show in April, the production car will hit the Chinese car market in late 2012. The T60 is based on the platform of the old Saab 9-3.

The T60 will be powered by old Saab eniges: 2.0 turbo and 2.3 turbo. Those are exactly the same engines that will power the Beijing Auto C70 that is based in the old Saab 9-5. Beijing Auto couldn’t buy Saab’s 6-cylinder because that was a GM unit.
