The Camaro is extremely popular in China, the young ‘n cool want it much more than a BMW. Funny thing is, they buy the Camaro to feel cool, to be ‘individual’, but then almost all in the same color anyway.

Chevy has the muscle-car market in China for itself. The Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger are not available in China. Strange indeed, Ford and Dodge just don’t have the China-guts that GM does have.

And sadly every single one is an automatic (as with the case with EVERY single porsche sold in China)…This primary desire for ‘convenience’ for these kinds of sportscars throughout China and their concern about status above driving enjoyment is a real pity!
