Aston Martin will launch ‘Dragon 88’ special editions for the booming Chinese luxury car market. ‘Dragon’ for the Year of the Dragon and ’88’ is a very lucky number in China. It ain’t a very special one though because customers can order the Dragon 88 treatment on three different cars; the DBS, Virage and Vantage S. According to Chinese sources there are 88 examples of each available, making this a total limited edition of 264 cars.

The Aston Martin Dragon 88 edition is a project very similar to the Rolls Royce Phantom Dragon Edition that debuted on the Guangzhou Auto Show in December last year and was completely sold out in early January.
