Top Gear China Special, not as bad as expected…

Published on February 7, 2012 by Tycho de Feijter

In December last year Clarkson and May and the Top Gear crew were filming in Beijing for a China Special. Chinese car fans and factories worried aloud about how hard Jeremy would kick around the poor vehicles, but in the the end things don’t seem so bad.

Clarskon and May are having fun in in da country, don’t do to much bashing and there is some serious racing in a Roewe and a Trumpchi. Best thing: a very mad Chinese Stig. Watch the video below, endure two commercials at the beginning, and the China-part starts at 40.00.

That Clarkson couldn’t pronounce the name of FAW’s leading model, the HongQi, is very telling indeed.
Hey c’mon take a little time and show a little respect……

copy right infringement does indeed translate into mandarin. “guanxi” would be my choice of it which is actually the word used for personel relations. The company which produced the fake X5 must have had some guanxi with officials for not getting sued.
