The first leaked official pictures of the facelifted Lifan 320 show design has moved on from being a Mini copy to a mix between a copy of a Fiat 500L (coming to China) and a Mini. For Lifan, we call that an improvement. On the Beijing Auto Show in April last year we met a concept for a completely new Lifan 320 on a new platform. That car however has been cancelled and the platform will be used for a mini-SUV that loox a lot like the Suzuki SX4.
The current Lifan 320, priced from 36.500 yuan to 54.900 yuan. Lone engine is a 1.3 liter four-cylinder with 90hp and 110nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or CVT. The 1.3 will get a small power upgrade in the facelifted Lifan 320, price will be about the same. The facelifted Lifan 320 is expected to debut on the Shanghai Auto Show later this month.
The center console is apparently designed to look like Wall, a cartoon robot, but it loox more like Mickey Mouse to me. Compare with Mini:
Well, exactly the same it ain’t…

A good copy is always better than a bad new design…to combine Fiat 500 and Mini into a nice little car like this, is a very good job!
