Beijing Auto Weiwang M20 mini MPV is Out in China
This is the new Beijing Auto M20 mini MPV, it will officially debut on the Guangzhou Auto Show in November and it will be launched on the China car market late this year. The Weiwang M20 will compete with fine cars such as the Chang’an Ounuo and the Wuling Hongguang, tapping into a fast growing market for affordable people carriers.
Price of the Beijing Auto Weiwang M20 will start around 50.000 yuan and end around 65.000 yuan. Power comes from a 1.5 liter engine with 106hp, mated to a 5-speed manual. Size: 4440/1700/1783, wheelbase is 2790.
The Weiwang M20 is produced in the city of Chongqing by ‘Beiqi Yinxiang Automobile’, a new joint venture between Beijing Auto (Beiqi) and the Yinxiang Motorcycle Group from Chongqing. The joint venture will also make the Beijing Auto SC20 mini SUV.
A very neat dashboard for a Weiwang-branded car, or for any Beijing Auto. The tie-up with Tinxiang was clearly a good idea.
