Spy Shots: Fiat Ottimo looks pretty in Red
Published on December 30, 2013 by Tycho de Feijter
New spy shots of the Fiat Ottimo testing in China, looking very pretty in red. The Fiat Ottimo is a new China-only hatchback based on the Fiat Viaggio sedan. The Ottimo debuted in November on the Guangzhou Auto Show and it will be launched on the China car market in the first half of next year.
Very speedy new alloys, especially designed for the Ottimo.
The Viaggio sedan and Ottimo hatchback are made in China by the Guangzhou-Fiat joint venture. The Viaggio is basically the same car as the Italian-American Dodge Dart. Fiat is also working on a Viaggio cross-wagon which will debut late next year. The wagon will spawn a Dodge variant, the hatchback most probably not.
The Fiat Ottimo will be powered by a 1.4 turbo T-Jet engine with 120hp or 150hp, mated to a 5-speed manual or a DCT. Price will start around 100.000 yuan and end around 150.000 yuan.
Black leather interior with red stitch work. Manual gearbox here. Sporty sporty…
Earlier spy shot of a white example. Red is better.
