A beautiful black Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG, Spotted in China on a road near Shanghai by reader Chiprdan, thank you for the picture! The license plate reads N9G55, and that is one of the best license plates we have seen on e G55 AMG in China. The plate was issued in Beijing, indicating this monster SUV made a 1200 kilometer ride down country, which should take that long with a 5.5 liter supercharged V8 with 500hp and 700nm under the bonnet.

The Mercedes-Benz G-Class is mighty popular in China, especially the AMG powered versions. When new, the G55 did a staggering 2.1 million yuan or 340.000 USD. Lotta money but lotta vehicle. Time now for our Famous China-Mercedes-Benz G-Class Collection™: Kleemann, license (40G55), matte black, Pink, black & PinkACE limo, matte black, SWB in white, crash, and ART Streetline.
