New spy shots of the upcoming Beijing Auto Senova D60, based on the old Saab 9-3. The Senova D60 debuted as an almost-ready concept car on the Beijing Auto Show in April. The final production version is expected to launch on the Chinese car market in Q4 with a price tag ranging from 80.000 to 140.000 yuan.
There will be three four-cylinder petrol engines available: one 1.5 turbo with about 150hp, one 1.8 turbo with about 180hp, and one 2.0 turbo with about 200hp. The latter is based on the good old Saab 2.0 turbo. Transmissions: 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic. Size: 4650/1720/1450mm, wheelbase is 2675.
Dials very techy with all kinda digital and LED.
Great looking car, especially around the C-pillar with a strong shoulder moving onto a long sloping rear deck.
