Spy Shots of the China-made version of the Renault Kadjar crossover, looking very ready for its launch on the Chinese car market in March. Price is expected to start around 140.000 yuan and end around 170.000 yuan, pitching it straight up against the new Mazda CX-4.
The Renault Kadjar will be manufactured in China by the Dongfeng-Renault joint venture. The Kadjar is based on the same platform as the Nissan Qashqai, which is already in production in China at the Dongfeng-Nissan joint venture.
In China the Kadjar will get power from 1.2 turbo and 1.6 turbo four-cylinder petrol engines, both mated to a six-speed manual or a CVT. The 1.2 turbo has an output of 114hp and 190nm. The 1.6 turbo has an output of 147hp and 240nm.
