First of all, we will remind you that Leapmotor was founded in 2015. However, its first electric vehicle hit the market in 2018. It was the S01 electric coupe. Currently, Leapmotor has already suspended the sales of this model in China. And still, it is presented on the official website of the company as a part of its legacy. As for the current model line, it is represented by three models: C11 SUV, C01 sedan and T03 city car. Leapmotor sells relatively good in China, with over 14,000 units sold in August this year. In the next two years, Leapmotor wants to enter international markets with five models. And the first one of them is the C10 SUV.

The Leapmotor C10 is a mid-size full-electric SUV that was previously known under the code name B11. Speaking about its styling, the C10 stays close with the C11 SUV. Currently, the interior of the Leapmotor C10 is hidden from our eyes. However, Chinese automotive enthusiasts have previously made some spy shots of its vehicle cabin. In one of them we can see that the C10 has a two-spoke steering wheel with a flat bottom, a large floating screen, a smaller LCD instrument panel and a black-white color scheme. According to Xchuxing media, the C10 can be equipped with 5 or 6 seats. However, its information wasn’t confirmed by the brand’s representatives.

Here, we should also mention that the Leapmotor C10 also stands on the brand’s latest architecture called Leap 3.0.

Leap 3.0 architecture

The main benefits of this architecture are increased safety, interior space, torsional rigidity and charging capability, Leapmotor representatives disclosed. Now, let’s get to these statements closer. According to the brand’s presentation, the torsional rigidity of the vehicle reaches 40,000 Nm/degree. As for the interior space, it was improved by 17.5% because of the battery layout. Moreover, the new platform supports 800V charging. Speaking of power output, this platform supports both RWD and 4WD drive types. It can be equipped with electric motors for 170 kW (231 hp) and 250 kW (340 hp).
