The entry-level version of the Zeekr 007 sedan was spotted in China. It has retractable door handles instead of buttons. And its front end doesn’t have the Zeekr Stargate LED element. These spy photos prove information about the 007’s trim levels leaked earlier.

Zeekr is an all-electric brand under Geely, launched in 2021. Its model line comprises four models: Zeekr 001, Zeekr 009, Zeekr X and Zeekr 007. All of them stand on the SEA architecture. The brand’s latest model, the Zeekr 007, started pre-sales on November 17 at the Guangzhou Auto Show. According to Zeekr, the main feature of the 007 sedan is the Zeekr Stargate LED element in the front end. However, according to previous information, it will be optional for almost every trim level. The spy shots of the new Zeekr model proved this fact.

In the spy shots, we can see the entry-level Zeekr 007 sedan. It has some visible differences compared to the top-trim version unveiled earlier. The entry-level sedan has retractable door handles instead of buttons. It hints that its doors aren’t electrically powered. The entry-level Zeekr 007 doesn’t have the Zeekr Stargate interactive LED element in the front end. According to the brand’s CEO, An Conghui, Zeekr spent 1 billion yuan on its development.

The entry-level trim of the Zeekr 007 has a plastic element painted in the body color instead of the Zeekr Stargate screen. It gives this sedan a very minimalistic look. Its logo also moved from the front bumper into the bonnet line. According to previous information, the Zeekr Stargate LED element will be optional for 15,000 yuan (2,115 USD). Only the top-trim Zeekr 007 YOU will have it in standard. Back to the entry-level model, it also doesn’t have the LiDAR sensor on the roof.

The Zeekr 007’s dimensions are 4865/1900/1450 mm with a wheelbase of 2928 mm. Its RWD version has an electric motor for 310 kW (415 hp). It speeds up to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds and can run up to 870 km (CLTC) on a full charge. The 4WD version has two e-motors for 475 kW (636 hp), suitable for a 2.84-second zero-to-hundred acceleration time. Its range reaches 688 km CLTC.

According to leaked information, the Zeekr 007’s price range will be around 229,900 – 334,900 yuan (32,390 – 47,180 USD). It will have four trim levels and six optional packages. We will keep an eye on the Zeekr 007, so stay tuned!
