A very rare and very red Toyota Celica Liftback, seen parked next to red BMW 1 in the great city of Shenzhen in Guangdong Province. The fifth generation ‘T180’ Toyota Celica was made from 1989 until 1993. It was never exported to China but some cars arrived via diplomatic or gray channels. The T180 was available with a 1.6, a 2.0, a 2.0 turbo and a 2.2. The Shenzhen car seems a low-spec variant and is thus likely powered by the 1.6. This red example is the third vintage Toyota Celica we meet in China, after a T180 Coupe and a T200 Liftback.
