This is the new Jiangnan Chunzhou SUV SUV, it will be launched on the China car market in the first half of 2014, priced between 80.000 and 100.000 yuan (13.000 – 16.300 USD). The vehicle’s headlights and grille look very much Ford Raptor.

The Jiangnan Chunzhou SUV SUV, it is simply called ‘SUV’, is made by a company called Jiangnan Chunzhou Automobile (web), also known as Jiangnan Auto. Confusingly, back in March we saw spy shots of another Jiangnan Chunzhou SUV SUV, with a different front and more expensive, but is hasn’t hit the market yet.

This new Raptor-inspired Chunzhou SUV will be powered by Mitsubishi sourced 2.0 and 2.4 liter gasoline engines, with an output of 127hp and 147hp respectively. The SUV has a top speed of only 130km/h, due largely to its 1780kg weight. Size: 4600/1855/1810, wheelbase is 2730. For comparison the measurements of the other Chunzhou SUV SUV: Size: 4560/1890/1820, wheelbase is 2720. We bet that’s the same platform.

The Ford Raptor is a popular inspiration in China, the most famous of all Chinese clones is still the mad JAC 4R3 that rocked the world in January 2012, but it sadly never made it to the market.
