Finally some new spy shots showing the Dongfeng-Liuzhou V20, a Cadillac SRX clone from China. The V20 was expected to hit the China car market this year, but new reports indicate launch is delayed until early 2014. Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Company is a subsidiary of the Dongfeng Motor Corporation, aimed at making cheap SUV’s, MPV’s and pickup trucks.

New spy shots of the new Dongfeng-Liuzhou V20, a Cadillac SRX clone from China. We met the vehicle for the first time in May last year. After that I became very silent and we almost thought Dongfeng-Liuzhou had abandoned the project. But they haven’t, the Chinese SRX is still alive…

Does it, ever stop? Here we have a new and yet nameless SUV from Dongfeng which loox very much like the Cadillac SRV, albeit a few sizes smaller. The car is produced by Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor, a subsidiary of Dongfeng Motor that makes rugged pick-up trucks and cheap SUV’s for the Chinese car market. It is likely based on the last-gen Kia Sorento that is still made in China by the Dongfeng-Yueda-Kia joint venture. Dongfeng-Yueda is yet another subsidiary of Dongfeng Motor.
